Who we are
Bodhelios Pvt Ltd ("Bodhelios", "we", "us") operates this website. We are registered in India at Highbrook, Shop 1, 2 and 3, Plot 156, Sector 19, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra 410210. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("the Act") we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.
Questions about how we handle personal data go to hello@bodhelios.com, which reaches the person responsible for answering them.
This notice is published in English. If you would prefer it in any language listed in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India, write to us and we will provide it.
What this policy covers
This policy covers this website only. It does not cover the Klyphe product, which is operated separately and has its own privacy terms that apply when you sign up for it.
What we collect
This site is a static, informational website. We do not run forms, accounts or logins on it.
- Nothing you type. There are no forms here. Every contact route is a plain email link that opens your own email client, so nothing reaches us unless you choose to send it.
- Email you send us. If you write to us, we hold your message and address for as long as we need to respond and to keep a record of the conversation.
- Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records ordinary request information (IP address, browser, page requested, timestamp) for security and reliability. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
Why we are allowed to process it
Where you write to us, we rely on the legitimate use in section 7(a) of the Act: you have voluntarily given us your personal data for a specified purpose (getting a reply) and have not indicated that you object to our using it for that purpose. We do not ask you to consent to anything on this site, because there is nothing else here to consent to.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Every asset the pages need (fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts) is served from this site itself, so loading a page here makes no request to any third-party domain and hands your IP address to no one but our hosting provider.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the two service providers who help us run this site (our hosting provider and our email provider) and only to the extent needed to deliver the site to you, or where the law requires it.
Where it is processed
Our hosting provider operates servers outside India, so server logs for this site may be processed abroad. Section 16 of the Act permits transfer outside India except to countries the Central Government restricts by notification, and we do not transfer personal data to any such country.
How long we keep it
Email correspondence is kept while it is useful for the matter you contacted us about and for our own records afterwards. Server logs are retained for the short operational window set by our hosting provider.
Where you ask us to erase your personal data, or where the purpose we collected it for is no longer being served and no law requires us to keep it, we erase it, as section 8(7) of the Act requires.
Your rights
Under the Act you may ask us for any of the following.
- Access. A summary of the personal data we hold about you, a summary of what we do with it, and the identities of any other Data Fiduciaries or Data Processors we have shared it with.
- Correction and erasure. To have your data corrected, completed, updated, or erased.
- Grievance redressal. To raise a complaint with us about any of this (see below).
- Nomination. To nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become unable to exercise them yourself.
Write to hello@bodhelios.com to exercise any of them. We will respond within the period the Act and its Rules require.
Grievance redressal
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, or with our answer to a request about it, write to hello@bodhelios.com with "Grievance" in the subject line. We will acknowledge it and respond within the period the Act and its Rules require.
If we do not resolve it to your satisfaction, you may then complain to the Data Protection Board of India. The Act asks you to raise the matter with us first.
If something goes wrong
If a personal data breach affects your data, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India in the manner and within the time the Act and its Rules require.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. The Act requires verifiable parental consent before a child's personal data is processed, and prohibits tracking, behavioural monitoring and targeted advertising directed at children. This site does none of these. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will erase it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
